Does as advertised, but easily affected by any shading of the solar panel. We addressed this by running the pump from a battery with it being recharged by a solar panel

This pump isn't for a large pond but works for a small frog pond. As it is solar it only works in sunshine which is what I expected. As a low cost solar pump it does the job.

Bought this to put in small fish pond in front yard. Works well I was a little disappointed in the size of it very small. I would have liked it to extend a lot more. It works so for that it is O.K. Doesn't work all day though.

Great pump to clean slurry out of our rain water tank and to transfer water from our dam. Make sure you can get hose to fit as it took us a few weeks to source it.
