Delivery was two short days to my door by Oz Post courier. Well packed in a reusable storage box. To be honest I didnt expect too much for the dollars spent with the well known brands being ten times the money. I was blown away fuelled and oiled motor started first pull. I only ran the motor on an idle speed for the short lift it was on 2m and once primed it had no problems pushing through 50m of 50mm discharge hose at a great rate. When on full throttle it hammered the water through however considering price I elected to run it slowly and tread lightly. Maybe an over reaction on my part The pump housing is cast Magnesium and appears thinly walled. However if like me you are looking for a light duty pump for occasional use that works like a charm starts easily then this is it. If you want to pump out the farm dam on a regular basis then Id probably go for a cast pump with stainless impeller. And be prepared to pay for it Im a happy camper with my pump.
