3500lb winch

the 3500lb winch was purchased after the 2000lb winch broke its main drive gear. Our boat motor wieghs approximately 600KG and I thought the 2000lb winch would do the job. Not so. It lasted about a year and each time it was used it really sruggled to pull the boat up onto the trailer. This 3500lb winch seems to do the job with a bit of power in reserve. Its a pity it doesnt have a quick release clutch to enable it to release freewheeling instead of having to use the motor to launch the boat. If anyone is looking to buy this winch make sure you grease the gears before using it they are dry.
