  once the chickens realised how to use it it was a winner. They were scared of it initially until they worked out if they stayed on the platform they would be able to eat their food. The dog wasnt able to eat their food although we did have the occasional pigeon stuck in there with the lid down on top of them.

  I use this item for my dog. I keep dry food outside for him to eat ad-lib. I used to have a lot of the dog food stolen by pigeons so decided to get this auto-opening feeder. It was easy to train my dog to stand on the pedal for food and has saved me a lot of money on food not being eaten by birds.

  This feeded is exceptionally well engineered and made easy to assemble and I am sure my 4 x chooks will have no trouble in coming to grips with using it.
