The Dehydrator is exactly as advertised. It came pretty quick for a prime member. Everything functions as described and is so easy a kid could do it. Works great The book that comes with it is all you need. You can go online also and get free recepies for jerky etc. I use it to make dog treats whole lot cheaper than buying them at the store I highly recommend this model for anyone that loves jerky
