  I love this feeder. I havent needed to personally feed my cat in over 2 weeks and now he gets fed 5 times a day instead of twice a day. The programming options are great. You can choose between 1 and 5 feedings a day. You can select how much food for each feeding measured by an arbitrary serving size and the time of each feeding. For example Buckys feeding schedule is 130a 2 servings 630a 1 serving 1100a 2 servings 430p 1 serving 900p 1 serving. The 7 total servings equals the 2 scoops of food I used to feed him per day. You can also program and record a feeding message but the recording quality is terrible so I just muted this feature. Something to note youll need either D batteries or a source of USB power to power it.

  I am very pleased with this feeder. Compared to others I considered it was the less expensive model. Set up was quick and after adjusting the portions and times to suit my cats I have not had to do anything but keep the bowl clean and fill food chamber. I would recommend 128077

  I bought this so that I could feed my cats several times per day while Im not at home. The recording works fine and is very audible and clear.

  I bought this feeder and a competitors feeder. This one was easier to set up and the feed size was in smaller amounts which gives better portion sizes. The dual power is a great idea. I am using this to feed a bird The only problem I had was with assembly of the outlet spout. The front panel had popped out of alignment. I had to take the base off to get it back in position so that the spout could be attached. Otherwise a very nice item. I should have bought 2 of these.
