  The engine is a good buy for the price.With a few improvements the engine would be very good.The engine idle should be improved. currently tends to hunt not idle smoothly.The fuel tank filler fuel cap are not a good seal as fuel spills out of the tank. I believe the fuel tank filler orifice needs to be redesigned so that the tank filler orifice is raised to enable the fuel cap to seal correctly.There has been a great number of these engines sold and I am sure the manufacturer if told could improve this problem.I own 6 of these 6.5 engines fitted to different products and with the above suggested improvements I am confident the manufacturer would improve its sales.

  This is about the 5th engine weve bought but its the 1st 6.5HP version. Its very powerful and easy to start. So far very reliable and has done all the work required of it. When you consider what Honda charges for these machines and how expensive the repairs are its more efficient to buy one of these.

  OffGrid on Solar repair DC GenSet 120amp 12Volt context.My Honda GX160 engine needed replacement and I decided to give the 6.5HP DualPower motor a go.The Honda motor was 600 plus dollars. So far I have been able to remove the Boch 120amp alternator from the old Honda GX160 motor. All the mount points match. The only difference is the tread on the bolts. 4 new bolts and thats it. Started first pull. Runs very well. As to the life will have to wait and see. The Honda motor lasted 2 years. At the price I paid its at least a 5 DualPower to 1 Honda.

  Great productReal value for money. I have mounted this engine on my Concrete mixer works great. Starts 1st time every time Would recommend this engine to anyone that needs a great reliable affordable unit.

  I have one of these married up to a positive displacement milk pump now used as a water pump on a remote property.Starts every time.Can039t fault it.Now have 5 Dual PowerDucar items from Crazy SalesLarge and medium genset Chainsaw petrol pump and the stationary engine - can039t fault them.Good stuff guys
