the filter actually makes nice tasting water, even from an Adelaide tap! Not easy to do! i normally buy spring water casks so this will pay for itself. the plastic housing and tap are a bit flimsy, i think most of the value is in the filter itself. the water does take its time going through all 8 layers. Still, for the price paid it is amazing value.

The ice maker overall does a pretty good job of what it is designed to do. The only thing I would pick on is there is a slight metallic taste to the cubes (this could be because it is new). If you need a lot more than a few kilos for a party, just start making it a few days beforehand. Place the completed cubes in freezer bags in freezer. For the price point it is reasonable.

Requires a 15A powerpoint (approx. $17 from Bunnings) to accommodate the large earth pin. The best griddle I have used in years cooks anything from hotcakes to steaks to perfection in no time at all. Splash guards were slightly bent due to the way courier had his van stacked.

This is a nice and compact Water Filter Unit - but only for cold/room temperature water. It was easy to assemble and doesn't take up much room. It is easy to re-fill but the water outlet is a little "cramped" - not too much room for bigger cups or bottles. You have two settings - permanent water run or while you push the leaver water run. The good thing - no leaking after you let it go to the closed position. The downside initially was that it took a long time for the water to filter through - and I mean it took many hours before we were able to get the first usable filtered water - but now it's not noticeable any more as we just keep refilling the top container. Overall we are very happy and the change in color of the water is amazing - so very very clear - unbelievable. See picture and hope it will show the difference.

Exactly as described, Certainly can taste the difference in the water. Bigger than expected so does take up a bit of kitchen bench space. Excellent value - especially with the spare filters
