This is about the 5th engine we've bought; but it's the 1st 6.5HP version. It's very powerful and easy to start. So far very reliable and has done all the work required of it. When you consider what Honda charges for these machines and how expensive the repairs are, it's more efficient to buy one of these.

the 3500lb winch was purchased after the 2000lb winch broke it's main drive gear. Our boat + motor wieghs approximately 600KG and I thought the 2000lb winch would do the job. Not so. It lasted about a year and each time it was used, it really sruggled to pull the boat up onto the trailer. This 3500lb winch seems to do the job with a bit of power in reserve. It's a pity it doesn't have a quick release clutch to enable it to release freewheeling instead of having to use the motor to launch the boat. If anyone is looking to buy this winch, make sure you grease the gears before using it, they are dry.

Hi, Very good product works well out of the box however gears do not come greased and this needs doing before using it, other than that have not tried it out with a load yet.

When this first arrived, I noted it was a very heavy package. The construction is of steel and appears to be very well built. It erected easily and appears to be a reasonable design. My only criticism is the fact that in my opinion it should have some sort of guard rail as part of the package. It is a little wobbly at the higher levels as well.
